Weekly Winners (16)
The spoiler season for JUN is in full swing, but we don't see that reflected in the prices of other cards yet! But still, I have some interesting movers for you this week.

#1 Sigil of the Empty Throne +253,5% ($7,60)
A very interesting riser. A logical explanation would be that this spike is caused by theros block's many enchantment (/creature/gods). But that is too simple. Why? Because of this deck, that 4-0'd some time ago.
But exactly because this card has synergy any of the many enchantment in the Theros block, Sigil of the Empty Throne will perform good in casual decks that run a lot of enchantments. The combination with Pophypry Nodes against (white) weenie decks is potentially killing.
#2 Price of Glory +94% ($3)
|
Price of Glory has seen a slow and gradual demand and therefore a similar price increase. The demand is mostly EDH-based and it's also an casual card. What makes it interesting, is that it makes casting instants very, very costly. A neat effect in the start of the game, but in the lategame (multiplayer) players tend to have a lot of extra lands, making sacrifcing them less of a problem. But, combine this with some more, heavier land destruction and you have some nice synergy. I might pick up a playset of this card as well.
But be aware! There is not a huge demand for this card. so don't expect this card to rise much higher.
#3 Sneak Attack ALL TIME HIGH (+78%) ($79)
|
It's counterpart (from the same set) Show and Tell is at $77 dollar today and that's strange. Simply because Show and Tell is a piece in Omnitell and Reanimator decks as well. If you follow that logic, Sneak Attack should/ could not be worth more than Show and Tell.
Some have argued that Show and Tell is slightly cheaper because it has a judge foil. But Sneak Attack is also printed as a judge foil, so that argument can not be true. I don't have exact figures on the difference in printruns for both judge foils; that might be a factor of influence.
This spike is probably a combination between a buyout and a price correction. Not many stores have the card in stock, which leads me te believe that they are sold out. But be aware: this is probably not a hype spike. Sneak Attack can and probably will hold it's new, +-80% higher price. It's in line with a lot of Legacy staples.

Also interesting!
This week no cheap pickups, but some other interesting cards that you should take note of!
