After a few weeks full of cards that moved because of constructed formats, we now see cards moving because of Commander, and from Dandân obviously.

This week the Weekly Winners are a little bit different than usual. Because I am going on a short holiday, I was forced to write this article yesterday (so, on Thursday) rather than on Friday like I usually do. So if there was a major spike today which you don't see reflected here on the Weekly Winners, then that's the reason, and I'll try to make up for that next week. Which I also probably have to write on Thursday.

Onto the Weekly Winners!

#1 City on Fire $9.99 (+164%)

The March of the Machine set isn't even out yet for another week, but people seem to be snagging up both versions of City on Fire. This enchantment can triple the damage that you deal, but comes at the hefty cost of . But it has Convoke, meaning you can tap your creatures to help bring the cost of the card down. The abilities of this card are not new, because the exact same damage effect can be found on Fiery Emancipation. And while that enchantment costs two mana less, the Convoke can make a lot of difference.

So when we look at Fiery Emancipation, we can see this card has cost between $25 and $30 for quite some time with a steady slow uptrend. So it's no wonder that City on Fire will be an above average expensive card. There are however two things to keep in mind: (1) the set hasn't even released yet. These are all pre-release prices and should be taken with a grain of salt. While it does occur that cards are underestimated before the release, more often than not a price crashes after the actual release. (2) City on Fire is printed as Rare, while Fiery Emancipation was printed as Mythic. Expectations are that March of the Machine will be opened a lot, and it being at the Rare rarity is going to make a lot of difference.

There is a good (or decent) reason for this card to move up quickly the past few days though. It was mentioned in a YouTube video from the Professor of the Tolarian Community College. In his video that was released a few days ago, the Professor discussed his five picks that you should pick up from March of the Machine. His #1 pick is, you guessed it, City on Fire. Him putting the card in the spotlight like this will definitely drive the price up.

#2 Keeper of Secrets $7.95 (+148%)

It must have been almost 3 weeks since we last discussed a card from Universes Beyond: Warhammer 40,000. That must be some kind of record, since they always tend to pop up in the Magic finance! Keeper of Secrets is the new card that has been spiking this week. The card can be found in the Ruinous Powers commander deck from this set, and sees play in, for example, Urabrask, Heretic Praetor decks.

But not too long ago, Wizards came with a new Secret Lair Drop: Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves that includes some new cards. In this case, Edgin, Larcenous Lutenist is the card that made Keeper of Secrets go up in price. Both of these cards care about casting spells, and Edgin can make sure you can cast spells ahead of the curve by Foretelling them.

Besides that, some people feel that it may be a good upgrade to the Tinker Time decklist from the Commander: March of the Machine set.

#3 Dandan Shenanigans

Last week we talked about Dandân moving up quickly because of the Dandan format. It is a game format for two players that uses a shared 80-card deck and graveyard. If you want to read a bit more about this format and the shared deck used, then I suggest you read the article from last week. This week we're seeing a number of cards moving up because of this format, which I'll briefly list below.
