15 Most Valuable Secret Lair Commander Deck Cards
Secret Lairs have expanded greatly over the years as Wizards of the Coast and their parent company Hasbro realize that small slabs of “premium” cardboard have an intensely devoted fanbase that is willing to spend lots of cash on cards in this series.
One such indicator of Secret Lair’s success is the ramping up of Secret Lair Commander Decks, which do exactly what they say on the tin: these are full-size, 100-card Commander decks boasting myriad unique artworks and high-dollar reprints. If you really wanted to, you could simply sleeve these up and play a round of Commander with your pals, though upgrading them with some stronger cards is likely the best move.
Either way, some of the cards found in these decks are quite valuable, so let’s take a look at the 15 priciest cards found therein, all of which are reprints.
Revel in Riches – 20 Ways to Win – $34.47
The only card from the 20 Ways to Win Commander Deck herein (from December 2024) is this easy-to-proc black enchantment that nets you a clean win if you control ten Treasure tokens during your upkeep – easy-peasy.
Also, the name of a Cardsphere series I started.
Revel in Riches (Rainbow Foil)
Maskwood Nexus – Everyone’s Invited – $34.75
The only Secret Lair Commander Deck released in 2025 was Everyone’s Invited, which had a rather diffuse theme of including tons of different typal payoffs for creatures, with no real focus on a specific creature type.
This artifact works to that end by effectively granting all your creatures the changeling ability.
Maskwood Nexus (Double Rainbow Foil)
Morophon, the Boundless – Everyone’s Invited – $38.98
Perhaps the favorite commander for typal players, Morophon, the Boundless is more or less the best choice if you’re playing a deck that wants to focus on specific creature types – especially if that creature type loves playing in the WUBRG space.
Morophon, the Boundless (Double Rainbow Foil)
Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge – From Cute to Brute – $42.20
The first card from the From Cute to Brute Secret Lair Commander Deck herein, which was released in May 2023, is Esika and her flip side, The Prismatic Bridge. This deck showcased “cuties” on the front and terrifying beasties on the back.
Esika, God of the Tree
Rin and Seri, Inseparable – Raining Cats & Dogs – $42.93
Everybody loves pets – specifically cats and dogs – and WotC cashed in on that by selling a Secret Lair deck with unique artworks and flavor texts focused on these beloved family members. The first entry herein from that deck is the platonic ideal in Magic of “dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!”

Sigarda’s Aid – Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings – $46.44
The most valuable Secret Lair Commander Deck by far (on aggregate) focuses on a classic Magic creature type: Angels. The Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings deck is a potent one full of high-dollar reprints, and its roughly $515 price point is nearly $100 more than the next most valuable one, which is Raining Cats & Dogs at around $420.
This Sigarda’s Aid isn’t in the deck, but came as a bonus card.

Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, Arisen – From Cute to Brute – $47.13
An extremely potent creature/planeswalker combo gets ultra cute on its front side and utterly terrifying on the flip side, defining the exact purpose of this Secret Lair Commander deck.

Bitterblossom – Everyone’s Invited – $47.16
A fan favorite originally printed in Morningtide back in 2008, this version from Everyone’s Invited boasts stellar artwork from Princess Hidir (of Aetherdrift Chrome Mox fame).
Bitterblossom (Double Rainbow Foil)
Bruna, the Fading Light – Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings – $48.88
Cards that meld with one another are extremely rare in Magic (only 14 exist, combining to create seven powerhouse permanents), and the two pieces of Brisela, Voice of Nightmares are both present in the Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings deck.
Bruna, the Fading Light
Commander’s Plate – Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings – $66.60
A potent piece of Commander tech, this is the most valuable version of this Equipment by far. Admittedly, it is a generally expensive piece of hardware, with the cheapest version being from the Iron Man/Avengers Secret Lair Drop sitting at a robust $41.21.
Gisela, the Broken Blade – Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings – $71.24
The other half of the Brisela, Voice of Nightmares meld along with Bruna, Gisela is worth more as she actually prompts the melding by simply existing during your upkeep. Also, the artwork on this version from Magic stalwart Scott M. Fischer is truly staggering.
Gisela, the Broken Blade
Anointed Procession – Raining Cats & Dogs – $75.33
Sol Ring – Raining Cats & Dogs – $82.42
A number of the most valuable cards from the Raining Cats & Dogs deck are double-sided, with one side highlighting dogs and the other side focusing on cats. Such is the case with the awesome versions of both the famed white token-doubling enchantment Anointed Procession and the arguable “mascot” of Commander, Sol Ring.

Archangel of Thune – Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings – $90.35
The most valuable card from Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings is this incredibly powerful lifelinking Angel that gives your entire team a permanent +1/+1 boost every time you gain life. No surprise it’s worth over $90 (though Scott M. Fischer’s unique artwork certainly carries its weight, too).
Archangel of Thune
Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful – Raining Cats & Dogs – $96.71
Surprisingly, the most valuable card from the Secret Lair Commander decks is this seemingly innocuous one-drop, originally from
Either way, this bonus card for Raining Cats & Dogs is worth nearly $100 and with Fiona Hsieh artwork that beautiful (and that cute), that’s certainly understandable.
