Onto the Weekly Winners!

#1 RMS Titanic $2.17 (+256%)

This legendary Vehicle from Universes Beyond: Doctor Who has been moving up recently thanks to a major rule change coming with Edge of Eternities. Starting with that set's release, legendary Vehicles will be eligible as commanders for the first time, opening up new deckbuilding possibilities that players have been waiting for. RMS Titanic is quickly becoming one of the most talked about options among the newly legal Vehicle commanders, and it's easy to see why this flying trampler is catching attention.

The card offers a unique commander since it naturally wants to sacrifice itself for Treasure tokens, but now it can simply return to the command zone instead of staying dead. With flying, trample, and the ability to deal serious commander damage, RMS Titanic can threaten to take out opponents quickly while generating the mana needed to recast itself. Red has plenty of cheap pump spells that can make the damage even more explosive, and since you get Treasure equal to the damage dealt, these spells pay for themselves. It's a completely different style of commander gameplay that has players excited to explore.

It remains to be seen how powerful this commander ends up being, but just by being such a new design space, the price has started moving. That said, it's still around $2, so if you want your copy, might as well get one.

#2 Summon: Yojimbo $20.00 (+312%)

This white Summon from Commander: Final Fantasy has been climbing steadily since the set's release, and it's not hard to see why. Unlike many of the spikes we've seen the past few weeks, this one isn't driven by some new combo or synergy with a specific commander. Summon: Yojimbo is just a solid card packaged with value that does a lot for its mere cost. The four-chapter Saga offers removal, a Ghostly Prison effect, and even a temporary 5/5 creature.

Another great thing about this Summon is that it can end up costing less than you paid for it. If your opponents have enough creatures when you reach the final chapter, you get three mana back, making this effectively a one-mana spell. In Commander games, that's usually not hard to pull off since everyone tends to have boards full of creatures.

Supply has been getting tight on this one, and with white Commander decks always looking for versatile removal and protection, it's no surprise players are picking up copies.

#3 Sigarda's Aid $19.95 (+82%)

This white enchantment, originally printed in Eldritch Moon, shot up this past week. The card lets you cast Aura and Equipment spells as though they had flash, and Equipments enter the battlefield attached to target creature you control. While it's been a solid inclusion in various Equipment-based strategies, the recent spike is being driven by players building around the Final Fantasy Cloud commanders.

Both Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary are Equipment commanders, and Sigarda's Aid provides exactly the kind of explosive plays these decks are looking for. Being able to flash in Equipment at instant speed opens up powerful combat tricks and protection options that can completely change the course of a game. With Cloud decks becoming increasingly popular and Equipment strategies getting renewed attention, players are picking up copies of this enchantment.

Besides the Commander demand, Sigarda's Aid has also seen play in Modern in Boros Hammer decks to cheaply attach cards like Colossus Hammer and deal massive amounts of damage. But in more recent builds of these decks, we actually see a playset of Cloud, Midgar Mercenary appear.
