#1 Court of Locthwain $20.16 (+316%)

Just last week we talked about Court of Vantress and other Courts that went up quickly because of the new commander Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. And while Court of Locthwain is in the correct color identity for Obeka, and she will probably have had a hand in its jump, there may be more here that's driving up the price. All Courts make you the Monarch when they enter the battlefield, but then also have a triggered ability in your upkeep phase that become more powerful if you're the Monarch. In Court of Locthwain's case you get to steal your opponent's spells from the top of their library.

In Commander: Outlaws of Thunder Junction we find a new commander that may be a good fit for this Court, and that is Gonti, Canny Acquisitor (Borderless). Gonti's whole thing is stealing spells from the top your opponents' libraries, and thus Court of Locthwain is a perfect inclusion in the deck; It matches the theme and the strategy. Another card from the Outlaws set that also cares about casting your opponent's spells is Tinybones, the Pickpocket.

And while we're on the subject of Obeka, let's briefly mention Extravagant Replication as well here, since it's been going up this past week as well. It has a powerful upkeep trigger and thus fits Obeka just fine!

#2 Tsabo's Web $9.89 (+140%)

Let's talk about this older artifact that was only printed in Invasion with no (tournament legal) print since. This set was released in October 2000 and thus making this card 23 years and some old. Tsabo's Web is an interesting card. It replaces itself since you get to draw a card when it enters the battlefield, and it also makes sure that lands with an activated ability that don't produce mana don't untap anymore.

Do keep in mind that because the card's last (and only) print was over 23 years ago, it means that there's a very limited supply. If the demand increases, the price can shoot up rather dramatically. Tsabo's Web has been showing up in Premodern quite often, but that's not the only reason for the card to spike. Legacy seems to be the reason for the card to gain popularity as well. It's been showing up in various Legacy sideboards to deal with those pesky utility lands like Urza's Saga, Thespian's Stage and even Karakas.

#3 Aftermath Analyst $2.70 (+93%)

I've been running into this card on Arena occasionaly and I always feel it's a kill-on-sight creature. However, since it has an activated ability that doesn't require tapping, and thus gets around summoning sickness, if the opponent has sufficient mana open it's already too late. It sees play in Standard in decks with a bunch of Streets Of New Capenna sacrifice common lands like Cabaretti Courtyard to get them into your graveyard and then getting them back with Aftermath Analyst's ability.

However, while popular in Standard, that doesn't necessarily mean that's the reason for the spike. Since the release of Universes Beyond: Fallout it's also been included in decks around The Master, Transcendent and The Wise Mothman. But more recently it seems that Yuma, Proud Protector (Borderless) is the primary reason for the card to move up all of the sudden.
