Weekly Winners (24-2016)
The financial markets have cooled down a bit now Eternal Masters is released. But like every week, there is enough interesting movement to report. So, once again, just in time for FNM, I present you the cards that will be the talk of the town tonight.

Since Eternal Masters was announced, we have seen cards on the reserved list spiking. At first, the spikes were logical. Now, months later the spikes continue, but the reasoning behind it is not always clear and sketchy to say the least. This week, our number one winner is

Simply because the card could maybe be relevant someday, someone say enough reason to buy this card out to make some money.
#2 Bridge from Below +51.5% ($10.65)
Just like with the reserved list cards, Eternal Masters doesn't only make some Eternal cards cheaper, but it also makes others more expensive. Especially those cards that are not in the set, and don't seem likely to see a reprint in another set soon.
Also, Dredge is a deck that can be considered a budget deck, compared to other Legacy decks. Getting some pieces of the deck in a EMA draft might just entice some people to get into Legacy as well by compiling a Dredge deck. And the same counts for Modern, of course.

When the Magic Origins pre-release prices first came in,
It looks like you will get a second chance at this. Recently, some players netted good results with the Mono-Blue Prison deck in Standard. On GP Manchester and later on the SCG IQ in Gaithersburg. Unexpected top finished always attract attention, and the decklists are analyzed in order to find those cards that are good to buy into, and players might want to try out the new deck.
Cut-Rate Cards
Cards with a cut-rate. They might get cheaper, or they might be $300+ in price, but they are still holding a price that is low compared to what it used to cost, the play it sees, or its popularity. But do note: I never give investment advice, I never tell you what to buy, to sell or to hold. I just give you information upon which you can base your own, intelligent and independent choice.
This card has an erratic price for some months now, it is on a low point compared to the upward trend it is showing. Might jump back up soon.
